Bob

Brother Bob

Commissioned art portrait of Mr. Bob Ezelle who was recently inducted into the Michigan Boys & Girls Clubs Hall of Fame.  This is a retirement present for Mr. Ezelle after serving more than 40 years residing as President of the Kalamazoo Boys & Girls Club.

(Cielo) Silo

This is an installation of a large-scale art piece titled, “Cielo”.  What you are looking at is the inside of an old barn silo looking up towards the sky.  The word Cielo is Spanish for Sky or Heavens, it originates from the Latin word, Caelum or Caelus, sky, heavens, and universe.  This barn silo was chosen because it was part of the underground railroad in Allegan County Michigan, U.S.A.  The underground Railroad was a network of secret routes as well as safe houses during the 19th century, for people escaping from enslaving.

Birds of a Feathers

I like peacocks. And I didn’t have one. So I had to tackle one at the zoo. I got to look at the feathers really close and paint this amazing colorful painting.  Unfortunately the zoo was not happy.  So  it costed me about  $200,000 in fines to just create this.
